The church fundraising continues with a Christmas Concert from the Bondleigh Barn Band on 2nd December, in Belstone Village Hall. For those of you who have not met the band before, they are a large, local group, playing a wide range of instruments and an eclectic mix of music – spanning four centuries – which includes classical, folk, jazz, opera and more and they perform just to raise money for charity.
You may have heard them at the Belstone Village Fair but, if not, you may well recognise several of their members!
So . . . kick-start your Christmas spirit and join us all for a light, ‘finger food’ supper and some rousing (and soothing) music which will, inevitably, include a few carols and a little audience participation (but no pressure!)
A licenced bar opens at 7.00pm, with the concert beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 from Marion 01837 840498 or Edwina 01837 840332. Also available at Marion’s Tearoom and Thursday Community Café.
