Come and join Ian Brooker, Dartmoor Ranger, Saturday 20th July 2-4pm to help control this invasive plant which has established itself on the slopes below the Great Green, Belstone.
This is not for the faint-hearted as the slope is steep and the invasive plant nestles itself amongst the bracken and bramble! You must wear some tough protective clothing and gloves are essential, as the vegetation has a habit of fighting back! If you survive, the Belstone Commoners’ Association has very kindly offered to supply refreshments courtesy of the local tea room. Anyone willing to help just come along at 2pm and join this group effort.
