Become a Partner of the Belstone Village Website

The site is provided and maintained by Belstone Village Hall, in partnership with local businesses, groups, organisations and charities, for all those with an interest in the village – residents and visitors alike.

Benefits of becoming a Partner include:

  • Online Profile – Due to its longevity, and high volume of traffic, the website hits the top of Google or Bing search listings for “Belstone”, and achieves a high rank for any phrase containing the word. Details of each partner exist as their own “Portfolio” item on the site, which has it’s own presence in search engine search results.
  • Visibility – Business, Group and Charity Partners of the village website are listed on the “Partners” page, which can be accessed from the main menu. They are also advertised via a button on the front page, inviting visitors to click to look at options for “Visiting & Services”. The image for each partner then links to a summary of the service, then directly to their own website.
  • Publicity – The new website is also designed to handle news items and events effectively, making them prominent and easy to click and read. Business Partners of the site can now add their own news items and details of events or offers – either by submitting them to the editors, or by being set up with their own user login.
  • Improved Communication – In addition, village residents, or anyone with an interest in Belstone, can now subscribe to receive notifications of any new postings on the site, via email – meaning that items posted on the site by Partners are emailed to a growing list of people who have already expressed an interest in all things “Belstone”.

Business Partners pay an annual subscription of £20, and non-profit organisations can become partners free of charge. Subscriptions help to cover the cost of the domain name, website hosting and development software, with the balance going to Belstone Village Hall funds. The design and editing services of moorSITES and the site editors are provided for free.
