Views of Taw Marsh, North Dartmoor sent to us by local historian and photographer Chris Walpole.
‘The view of Steeperton from Taw Marsh is one of my favourites and I’ve probably taken more photos of it than any other Dartmoor view. Here’s a few recent ones; the two with my dog Sooty were taken around 11am on Armistice Day, 11 November, a peaceful scene and a far cry from the turmoil in various parts of the world; and the others were taken before and after sunrise the morning after the first frosty night of the season.’
