Never mind if you can’t get to Chelsea Show to see the Gold Medal winning NGS (National Garden Scheme) Garden. Take a walk on the wild side at your own local NGS garden – now in its 53rd year of opening.
The garden is at its springtime best with the blue poppies putting on a wonderful show, the Acers in their full glory along with the fantastic Chilean Fire Bush and a range of unusual plants not normally seen nearly 1000 feet up on north Dartmoor. Have a cream tea on the lawn, bring your dog and, on Monday 27th, enjoy music in the garden from Pat, Paul and Jerry’s Mando Trio, playing a varied mandolin-based mix of classical, traditional and English folk music, on acoustic mandolins, fiddle and guitars. Well signed parking in nearby field.
