‘Water, Water Everywhere’, Bex Flintham 7.30pm Belstone Village Hall
Doors open at 7pm, with a cup of tea and biscuits and the meeting starting at 7.30pm. There will be a short AGM, followed by Bex’s talk.
Water is the stuff of life, yet as gardeners we are often coping with not enough of it – or far too much at once! By creating water features, such as ponds and bog gardens and, by using water-wise gardening methods, we can make our gardens and our communities more resilient to weather extremes. . . As well as enriching our surroundings and making our gardens more attractive. In this talk, Bex Flintham shares tips and techniques for making space for water in our gardens, and finding ways to work with the elements instead of battling with them.
