John Walters – ‘The Secret World of the undergrowth’
Doors open 7pm for a cup of tea and biscuit. We welcome new members and guests with an entry of £4 for one night.
John’s talk will be exploring the amazing world which is all around us but little known, including Emperor Moths, insect eating fungi and migrant Hummingbird Hawk Moths.
“I have been giving talks on natural history subjects for twenty years. These are a combination of my field sketches, photographs and video clips. I have thousands of images to choose from so am constantly adding new material to my presentations.”
John is an accomplished artist, ecologist, photographer and speaker, whose work has been featured on BBC Television. More information about his work can be seen at http://johnwalters.co.uk/
Membership for the year is £15 and there are still six meetings to go, including this one. Our November meeting is a ‘Christmas Pic and Mix’ when our speaker is Alan French. (November 26th 7.30pm Belstone Village Hall) For further information please contact Robin: [email protected]
