It is with great regret and reluctance that the organisers of the Belstone Craft Fair have made the decision to cancel this year’s event. The planning of the event was begun on the understanding that, should there be any concerns over the potential safety of the event during the pandemic, it would be cancelled.
Taking into account the continued rise in cases and hospital admissions, the difficulties of controlling the number of people in the hall at any one time – especially if the weather were to be inclement – and the potential risk to the more vulnerable members of our community, it was felt that it would be the responsible thing to cancel.
