St Mary’s Belstone will be holding their Christingle and Toy Service at 4.00pm on Sunday 1st December.
That day is also the first Sunday of Advent so the first Advent candle will be lit and the church’s Christmas tree lights will be turned on, as part of the service. With lots of candles, sweets, and oranges, there is plenty of opportunity to put together your Christingle to take home!
If you would kindly like to donate a new toy in aid of the Women’s Refuge in Torbay, it would be most gratefully received. Please wrap and label with the age and gender, Alternatively, gifts or vouchers could be donated for the women.
There will be a collection box for toys in St Mary’s Church from the 1st to the 8th December or please leave in the porch at Green Lodge, Belstone.
