At last a chance to get rid of all that stuff you sorted out during lockdown. The first two of Belstone Cricket Club’s usual three car boot sales were inevitably cancelled, but the third one is going ahead at the Rew Meadow ground on Saturday 5 September. The event will take place with Covid-19 precautions in operation, increased space between boots, one-way systems in place where appropriate, take-away food and drink served from outside the pavilion using disposable paper plates and cups, plenty of hand sanitizers available and regular cleaning of the toilets. As usual sellers can arrive from 9am to set up, price £5 for cars and £6 for vans. Buyers admitted for free after the official opening time of 10am; anyone arriving before 10am must pay £2 to enter.
