As you all know by now, King Charles III will be crowned on Saturday 6th May 2023, and the country is having a bank holiday weekend, during which we are all encouraged to celebrate the first British coronation that most of our population has ever known.
At the moment, there is nothing planned in Belstone, but the Village Hall Management Committee are keeping the Village Hall available and, of course, free of charge for that entire long weekend – from Friday lunchtime until Monday evening. So . . .
. . . if anyone would like to organise any events to be held that weekend, for the whole village to attend, they can be advertised in the usual ways. Do chat the idea over with friends and we’d be happy to advertise any planned events on the website, to encourage people to help organise in advance or support on the day.
