APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS BY COMMONERS

Elections are being held this month for members of the Dartmoor Commoners Council. There may be an election to select the two large grazier representatives for the North Quarter, depending on the number of nominations received. Two Councillors conclude their term this year.  

The election, if any, for the North Quarter will take place on
Monday 15th June at Meldon Reservoir, Dartmoor National Park Car Park, 7.00 pm – 8.00 p.m.

Commoners who wish to vote at the election must have paid their contribution in respect of each financial year during which the commoner’s name has been so recorded. No contributions will be accepted at the election meeting.
