Yesterday (23rd April) Chris Walpole heard his first cuckoo of the year – on the slopes of Cosdon above Ford Farm. So it’s a good time to remind everyone of the Dawn Chorus walk and breakfast next Saturday 29 April. Meet in the car park at 5.30am. We always hope to see or hear the cuckoo on the walk so it’s good to know it has arrived in time. If you don’t fancy the walk, pop along to the Village Hall from 8am onwards for the breakfast!
