Pat, Paul & Jerry’s Mando Trio – playing Monday 2nd May
Andrews Corner Garden, Skaigh Lane, Belstone, EX20 1RD is opening its gates again this weekend (Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May) in aid of the National Garden Scheme charities and we look forward to welcoming visitors, whatever the weather! Open from 2-5pm with cakes, Cream Teas and hot beverages, for donations to the NGS. Parking in nearby field. At this time of year we have the delightful background accompaniment of the cuckoo. He is calling today (1st May) so here’s hoping he’ll call again for our visitors.
On Monday 2nd May, we have, once again, another delightful background accompaniment from Pat, Paul & Jerry’s Mando Trio, who were much appreciated on two open occasions, last year, when we celebrated 50 years of opening. The Trio play a varied mandolin-based mix of classical, traditional and English folk music, on acoustic mandolins, fiddle and guitars.
The NGS is the largest single donor to Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie, and also donate to several other nursing and health charities. All money taken at our openings goes to the NGS.
