Martin and Sara – ‘Growing Vegetables – In Harmony with Nature’
For our 26th February meeting, 7.30pm in Belstone Village Hall, we welcome Martin and Sara from the Harvest Workers’ Co-op. Their talk will focus on small scale garden soil health, biodiversity and minimising pest problems. They will also give some background as to how and why they run the Farm Shop in Okehampton and use ‘no dig’ principles in their cultivation of vegetables.
Come and find out more about sustainable food production and support this local ‘not-for-profit’ social enterprise.
Members pay £15 for the season, with Guests £4 for an evening. Doors open 7pm, with tea/coffee and biscuits.
