Thanks to Emma Bisson, the village now has a new recycling scheme, whereby we can recycle all empty medication blister packs – whether prescribed or bought ‘over the counter’. This also includes animal medication blister packs and is part of a Terracycle scheme (https://www.terracycle.com/en-GB/) in conjunction with Chagford Pharmacy (01647 433486) so please don’t throw your empty packs away!
Emma has set up a collection container in the defibrillator (phone box) in the centre of the village and, when it is full, she will take it to her pharmacy. Please – only empty packs, no medicines. Emma will be checking the container periodically but, in the meantime, we are asked to let her know if it is full.
