On Sunday 12th February, the Belstone Friends of the Children’s Hospice South West held their annual Snowdrop Sunday in the garden of Andrews Corner, Belstone from 11.00am – 4.00pm. The weather was dry and the sun shone enough to allow people to sit outside with their refreshments. Some 130 or more adults, plus a few youngsters, wandered around the garden to enjoy the snowdrops and came up to the house to buy pots of snowdrops and enjoy hot soup, beverages, bacon baps, cakes and cheese scones.

The day made a staggering £1,800 for CHSW (a record for the Friends Group too) so . . . a HUGE Thank You to everyone who came, wandered, ate, drank, bought, donated and supported in any other way. All being well, we’ll do do it all over again this time next year and let’s hope it’s another record!
