Sticklepath Parish Council are seeking a part-time Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer for approx. 16 hrs per month, with immediate start. The salary will be the National recommended pay scale NJC/SCP range 7 to range 11 (£10.44 per hour to £11.53 per hour – £20,092 – £22,183 pro rata per annum
We are looking for an excellent communicator, administrator and manager to support the work of the Parish Council. Sticklepath Council is one of the smallest in Devon, with few assets, and as such the work is not arduous. The Parish Council comprises 7 Councillors and hold 11 meetings p.a., with additional occasional meetings as necessary. The Clerk will be working from home, and must have their own laptop and printer.
Applicants must be computer literate and have a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures. The right person will find us to be a friendly and committed Council sharing a common desire to maintain the vibrancy and sense of community within this small village.
