A30 Tongue End junction (Okehampton)
Overnight works – westbound exit slip
11, 12, 13 March 2024 – 8pm to 6am the following morning
National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A-roads.
They will be carrying out overnight resurfacing on the A30 westbound exit slip at Tongue End junction (Okehampton). They will work overnight when traffic flows are at their lowest. During the day the road will be open as usual. Where possible, they’ll complete noisiest works before 11pm.
The A30 Tongue End westbound exit slip will be closed and a lane closure will be in place on the A30 mainline between the hours of 8pm in the evening to 6am the following morning. Additionally:
• 12 March – a daytime lane closure will be in place on the Tongue End westbound exit slip
• 12 and 13 March – overnight temporary two way traffic lights will be in operation on the B3260
Diversion – Signs will be in place advising motorists to use the westbound exit slips at Whiddon Down or Sourton (before and after the Tongue End exit slip).
It is possible that works could continue for an extra night.
