CO-OPTION PROCESS FOR COUNCILLOR VACANCY

Following the statutory notice of a Casual vacancy dated 1/4/2025, approval has been given by WDBC to fill the Councillor vacancy through the process of co-option rather than through a by-election meaning that the current Council, rather than the electorate will vote to decide on a candidate.

Should you be interested in becoming a Councillor, please register your interest before 14/5/25 by emailing the Clerk. 

A co-option meeting to fill the vacancy will be held on 19/5/25 for candidates to attend.
