The Cuckoo has arrived in Skaigh Valley, Belstone. Heard loud and clear at 7.45am today -19th April – so the cold March weather didn’t delay his journey! Hopefully he may be heard by those of you who take part in the Dawn Chorus Walk on 28th April.
Swallows have already been seen on the common too, so you can officially assume that spring is here – fingers crossed it continues.
