. . . until the Belstone Village Fair!
So get yourself ready for a great afternoon out, at this ever-popular event, on Sunday 6th July, from 1.00-4.00pm, on Belstone’s Great Green, (next to the Tors Inn, overlooking Cosdon Hill).
With all the usual popular events – Dog Races, Children’s Races, Egg Throwing Competition, stalls and sideshows, it’s a great day out for all the family (and the dog!). As usual, there will be a Pimms’ Tent and Tea Tent, where you can sit and watch events unfold, while you enjoy delicious homemade cakes and a display from the Okehampton Community Dance Project.
Thanks to Okehampton Running Club, the traditional Cosdon Hill Run will, once again, take place on the same day and starts from the site of the Fair, which is also the finishing point. Start time – 1.30pm for Juniors (under 13); 2.30pm for seniors. Register on the Village Green by The Tors Inn. Parking is on Belstone Cricket Ground, so join us for an excellent family afternoon out – with all the family and the dog(s)! All profits from the running of the Fair, will go towards maintaining Belstone’s lovely Village Hall, for everyone to enjoy.
