Beacon CLT Minutes 26/9/25

1.Attending: Lynn Daniel: Sally Fullwood: Katie West WDBC: Lorinda Legge.

2. Apologies: Nicky Wooldrige:Fred and May Madders.Cllr Mark Renders.

3. Minutes 25.07.202: agreed as an accurate record.

4. Matters arising

  1. Beacon CLT rules signed and pending verification by CLT Network solicitor.
  2. FCA forms signed by SF, LD and MM, and sent to CLT network for submission to FCA.
  3. WDBC grant applied for  awaiting agreement.
  4. Land for development, agenda item.
  5. Middlemarch CLT, agenda item

5. Chairs report :  zoom call to Middlemarch CLT, Alison Ward, She was keen to be involved in our social housing project. The agreed date for a site visit is 20th October. We will meet at Tudor Cottage 2pm to visit the 3 potential  sites. I will let the landowners know. Middlemarch work closely with Hasto HA to develop small local projects. I mentioned the changes to tenancy agreements locally.

Photos of the Beacon CLT trustees are needed for the Oke links article. Perhaps we can take some during site visits.

The CLT Network provide free training courses, if any trustees wish to attend let me know and I can add your email details to our lists.

6. Treasurers Report SF- we will apply for an online bank account once the Beacon CLT rules have been verified. LD will confirm. 3 signatories to start and more if required.

7. Land – the landowner of the South Zeal site is still interested so we will have 3 sites to view on 20th October. Middlemarch CLT will send 2 representatives and WDBC 1 officer plus which ever trustees are available.
