BELSTONE PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on Tuesday 16th April 2019
at 7.30pm in the Village Hall Meeting Room
Present: Michael Ash (Chairman), Ann Norman (Vice Chairman), Paul Boyce, Susan Norrish, Jon Pike and Kate Little (Clerk)

3. Planning Item: Mrs S Clist, Lees Barn, Belstone
Removal of stone staircase, cladding to NW elevation and single storey lean- to and construction of new two storey artist’s studio with dormer roof. DNPA planning application ref: 0124/19.
Resolved to raise no objection/neutral view.
4. Any other business:
(i) Riverside Chalet Removal of existing chalet and construction of timber replacement. DNPA ref no. 0061/19 – it was noted that planning permission had been refused by the DNPA on the grounds of an unjustified dwelling outside a recognised settlement and not necessary for the purposes agricultural, forestry or an established rural business, contrary to the relevant Local Plan policies.
There being no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 8pm.
