Garden Waste Subscriptions
Subscriptions for this year’s garden waste service are due to be open by the end of 1st week of March.
For residents who are already subscribed, it should be a seamless transition.
The service will start for subscribers from 1 April 2023 and run until 31 March 2024.

ID required at polling stations
Further to the presentation given to Members on Tuesday, 21 February regarding the introduction of Voter ID, please find the attached slides and poster to circulate.

Becoming a Councillor Open Event 6th March Kilworthy Park
There is an open event at Kilworthy Park Tavistock 6th March for anyone who is considering becoming a councillor. There will be information and advice and a chance to ask questions. I highly recommend attending this event and please pass this information on to anyone who is considering standing for Parish, Town or Borough council.
Pre Election Period
The pre-election period begins on 23rd March and continues until the 4th May.
The restrictions essentially mean that councils cannot: ‘publish any material which, in whole or in part, appears to be designed to affect public support for a political party.’ Full guidance is available online.
